Coaches and managers need a background check that will cost them $20 and be valid for two (2) years after approval. This cost is NOT included in the price of Independent Team registrations and will be covered by the individual coach or manager.
Should an individual fail to pass a background check then they will not be allowed to be around the team directly with youth players in any soccer team specific activities. Your payment will NOT be refunded for any reason once your submission of a background check is done.
More information on how to submit your background check will be sent to you directly by the contact below when you begin to gather your teams information.
Coaches and Managers need to complete the SafeSport Training Courses modules before they are allowed to be apart of the team. This training completed once your GotSoccer Coaches or Managers account is set up by KSYSA. It is FREE of charge if you follow the instructions below.
If a Coach or Manager has completed the SafeSport Certification through another sports governing body or educational institution then you DO NOT have to complete the requirement again.
